Goldsworthy

I think that Andy Goldsworthy has some really cool ideas that range from really simple to really complecated. He adds alot of interesting ideas to the world with his different shapes and building materials. When he sits down and starts working on an idea I think that he has amazing patients, he would have to to be able to just sit and build what he does and not get to put out when it falls over like we saw in the video.

Emulated Photo for Dominique Bollinger

My second person that I emulated was Dominique Bollinger. I think that I got some of the concept in the photo but I don't think that I got everything that he was working for into them. I decided to make these pictures black and white because I knew that Dominique Bollinger used a lot of black and white instead of color. Do you think that the black and white makes the photo hard to figure out what is going on?

Emulated Photos of Matt Siber

One of the artists that I decided to use for my emulated artists was Matt Siber's. One of the things that he would do that I thought had a very unique look to it was his signs that he erases the posts for them and just leaves this floating sign. I did this by just taking some pictures of some signs then in the photo editor I took and erased out the posts for them. I like the one on the left the most because I think that I did a better job at erasing the post then I did on the one on the left. I also think that the one on the left is more successful because the background is lighter so you can really tell that the post for it is actually gone. The one one the right I think doesn't look quite right because the background is dark and it looks like the sign post is just blending in with the background. What do you think that I could do better with these photo's?

Photo Montage 2

When I started thinking about how to make my second photo montage I thought that I would do one in front of a church showing a couple getting married and then a faded grave behind them to symbolize a couple of the stages of life. So I started to look for pictures and I found the church that is the back ground and I kept that because I liked how it was constructed. I kept looking and I found an old Roman archway and I thought about some of the cool pictures I had seen where the main picture was taken through an arch way. After that I found this set of steps that was called the pathway to heaven and that gave me another idea to do a church in the middle of the archway with a stair case leading from the foreground to the church just to symbolize the steps that you take in becoming a Christian. Do you think that this picture displays the meaning that I wanted? Please explain.

First Photo Montage

I made this photo montage because I have always like things about ancient Greece and I thought that this would be a fun way to put a few of the ancient things from Greece all in one place. I decided to put the flag in just to show what the countries flag looked like now. Also I put the flag in so that some people who know what the flag looks like can tell where this is suppose to be from. What do you think is the strongest part of this photo?
